Animals > Goats

Our goats are cheeky characters, full of playfulness, and are very friendly and love visitors.

They come from very different backgrounds but all have been bought or rescued and have a wonderful life here at Manor Farm.

Ash, Milo & Reo, for instance, are Anglo-Nubian goats, all brothers. We took them in as babies just a day or two old from a dairy farm. As they were males they were not needed and would have been killed, but instead can look forward to a long and happy life with us.

Reuben is an Anglo-Nubian too, and is particularly suitable for adoption.

Jammie is a Toggenburg goat, also brothers, and were not required in the herd so we saved them and brought them to Manor Farm. They, too, are great for adoption as they love being taken for walks - sometimes even better behaved on a lead than a dog!

Name: Jammie

Jammie is a Toggenberg goat, named after our first, the legendary Naughty Billy Biscuit. When he was born he was not required by the breeder, as he was a male, and, like the Anglo Nubians, would have been destined for meat.

Name: Reuben

Reuben is the new kid on the block!
He moved in with us in 2009 and has taken well to life at Manor Farm. He is just adorable!
