Manor Farm Park & Woodlands offers a full day of fun for children and grown-ups alike.

Introduce your children to their favourite animals, then let their imaginations run wild in the woodlands, maize maze (usually available August to October) and play areas. With hot and cold food available at great prices, picnic benches for packed lunches and pathways suitable for pushchair access, Manor Farm Park & Woodlands is the perfect destination for young families.

Situated in over 25 acres of countryside just 10 minutes from the M1 Motorway, Manor Farm Park & Woodlands is easily accessible from Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester and Derby.

Animal Activities

Children will love our daily schedule of animal activities.

Our animal activities vary day by day. To see what's happening on the day you're planning to visit, download our app and select the date you're interested in.

Small animal petting and bird handling - seven days a week.
Falconry flying demonstrations - daily, weather permitting.
Snake feeding demonstrations - Mondays and Thursdays.
Donkey grooming - weekends and during school holidays.

Private Encounters

Make your family day out extra special with one of our Animal Encounters, perfect for animal lovers of all ages.

Step into the world of wildlife as you get up close and personal with our majestic birds of prey. Discover the fascinating world of reptiles, where you can meet slithering snakes and friendly lizards. For those who prefer a slower pace, our gentle tortoises are always ready for a relaxed interaction. And, if you love all things soft and cuddly, spend some quality time with our adorable rabbits and guinea pigs, who love nothing more than a gentle stroke and a tasty treat.

Whether you're looking for an educational experience, a hands-on interaction, or simply a magical moment, our Animal Encounters offer something special for everyone.

Private Experiences

Indoor Playbarn

For all-weather fun, take time out in our Indoor Playbarn, Nottinghamshire's LARGEST indoor adventure play centre.

Children will love climbing aboard the pirate ship, discovering the secret rooms in the spooky castle, riding on the pedal-karts and playing football.
We also have a multi-level indoor adventure play zone suitable for all ages, with soft play equipment, three huge slides and fun ball cannons, along with a dedicated role play area.
For our younger visitors, we have role play houses, a small soft play area with a ball pool and a dedicated carpeted area in the centre of the Playbarn with toys especially for under fours.

Dinosaur Trail

If you’re a fan of The World of Dinosaur Roar! or just love dinosaurs, you'll love our Discovery Trail. Featuring life-size dinosaur models in a natural woodland setting, the trail brings to life the delightful series of The World of Dinosaur Roar! children’s books and characters created by Peter Curtis, based on Dinosaur Roar! by Paul Stickland and Henrietta Stickland and produced in association with the Natural History Museum in London.

Along the trail, you’ll be able to meet Dinosaur ROAR the Tyrannosaurus rex, Dinosaur STOMP the Triceratops, Dinosaur WHACK the Stegosaurus, Dinosaur WHIZZ the Coelophysis, Dinosaur FLAP the Oviraptor, Dinosaur BOO the Deinonychus and Dinosaur MUNCH the Diplodocus.

Outdoor play

A day of family fun at Manor Farm Park & Woodlands with three outdoor play areas to discover.

The first playground you'll come to is The Burrows Outdoor Play Area with tunnels, tower, slide, tractor, nest swing and climbing wall
At the bottom of the farm park is the Fort Adventure Playground with fort, tower, swings, slides and mini football pitch (seasonal)
And for a more peaceful vibe, you'll find swingboats by the lakeside.

Maize Maze

Our Maize Maze is usually open from August to October, offering a fun-filled challenge for the whole family.

But there's a problem... ten of our animals have escaped into the maze!

Farmer Tone needs your help to track them down. Can you find them all? Keep your eyes peeled for a wallaby, highland cow, rhea, sheep, pig, alpaca, chicken, snake, llama and peacock hiding among the maize stalks.

Food and drink

We have picnic tables located throughout the farm park, both outdoors and inside the playbarn.

We also have Antlers Bistro at the main entrance and the Laughing Donkey Cafe in the playbarn, both serving meals, snacks, drinks and ice creams. We ask that you don't eat picnics at the tables in either the bistro or the cafe.
